Our domestically refined kerosene, jet fuel, and light oil products are of the highest quality and can meet the strictest environmental standards. These products are therefore targeted for export to regions that demand compliance with stringent environmental regulations.
The Cosmo Oil Group's light oil production technologies comply with the United States' CARB (California Air Resources Board) regulations. The Cosmo Oil Group has also made a successful entry into CARB's West Coast light oil wholesale business thanks to a recent upturn in the local economy.
Although sales are currently focused on light oil exported from Japan, the strengthening market has led to an increase in sales of light oils procured locally.
